Ultra Construction is an experienced and reliable contractor offering high quality services. We hired Ultra Construction in April 2022 to do a gut renovation of a 2-bedroom apartment in Maplewood. Ultra’s owner, Ronnie Santos, took time to work with us to develop a project document, including the fine details involved in making substantial changes to the floor plan, plumbing and electrical connections. This required consultation and continuing coordination with the condominium’s technical staff. Once agreed and formalized, he organized all needed building permits and set the 12-week timeline for the project accordingly. Given pandemic shortages, we relied on Ronnie to identify and coordinate carpentry, soundproofing, kitchen cabinet, frameless shower enclosure, window, heating/air conditioning, fire prevention/sprinkler firms as well as electrical and plumbing services. In parallel, Ultra worked with our interior designer to install wood flooring, tile, sanitary ware, lighting, appliances and paint the apartment and all woodwork, doors and trim. It was necessary to make a few adjustments to the project during implementation. These adjustments were identified by us or Ronnie, were discussed in advance and were documented by change orders. The project was delivered on time and on budget. Ultra Construction is an excellent contractor that we can happily recommend.
